Despite the geographical distance between the two countries, the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom have enjoyed a long history of friendship and cooperation. With firmly established economic, academic and cultural ties, it is most rewarding to play a role in the further development of the relationship between our two countries.

As links between Korea and the UK continue to grow, the Embassy has extended its efforts to provide a comprehensive and accessible source of information. We are privileged to have launched the Korean Cultural Centre, open since 2008, and to work in partnership with two of Korea’s government agencies, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and the Korean National Tourism Organisation.

This network of organisations works to assist and encourage cultural and economic exchanges between Korea and the UK and to foster mutual growth and understanding.
